Waipara Wine Tour
Our Waipara Wine Tour takes you to award-winning Waipara wineries such as Pegasus Bay, Waipara Springs, Torlesse, Greystone, Waipara Hills, Georges Road, Black Estate, where you can taste many wines and view the vineyards.
The South Island of New Zealand has some of the southernmost vineyards in the world, with climatic conditions producing wines that are distinctive and unique. The Waipara Valley in north Canterbury, is Canterbury's premier wine-growing region, and is about 75 minutes' drive north of Lyttelton. Waipara is one of the fastest growing wine producing regions in New Zealand, currently boasting over 90 vineyards and wineries. The region is an ideal cool-climate grape growing area, with Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc dominating local plantings. Recent investment in the region by some of New Zealand's larger wine producers, means that Waipara is set to become a major player in the New Zealand wine industry.
On the journey back from Waipara, if there is time available, we are happy to show you around central Christchurch, before returning you to Lyttelton.

Your personal driver/guide, private transportation, wine tastings at up to 4 wineries, main course lunch at either Waipara Hills or Waipara Springs, and the opportunity to walk through a vineyard.

As this is a private tour, we are able to tailor this tour to suit your preferences, including departure time, wineries visited etc. Final cost will depend on the number of wineries you wish to visit, and which ones. They all charge different amounts for wine tastings.
Akaroa Day Tour
Akaroa is Christchurch's most loved day tour destination. Join us for an exceptional scenic tour of Banks Peninsula, including Lyttelton and Akaroa Harbours, and the historical seaside village of Akaroa. Leaving Lyttelton Port, we travel around the harbour to Governors Bay, through Gebbies Pass, alongside Lake Forsyth, through Little River, and along the Akaroa summit road. Scheduled sightseeing photo stops are made, so don't forget your camera !
You can then choose how to spend your day in Akaroa........
There are plenty of options to include in your day, from simply walking, relaxing in bars and cafes, taking a leisurely harbour cruise, or for the more adventurous, you can swim with the world's smallest dolphins - Hectors Dolphins.
Your tour will include a visit to Christchurch city before returning you to Lyttelton Port.
